About the association
Introduction
The Nursing Association of Nepal (NAN) is the sole professional organization of nurses in Nepal. It is a non-political, non-sectarian organization that is not influenced by class or religion. The organization's mission is to provide quality nursing service to the people and to protect and promote the professional rights and interests of all nurses in Nepal. NAN was established in 1962 (BS 2018 Magh 15) with the registration number 8/018, and became a member of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) in Geneva in 1969.
